I wake up feeling refreshed, calm and excited to begin my day. It’s around 8.30am. I can hear birds singing and the ocean waves lapping. I have a healthy breakfast with fresh fruit on my balcony with a view of the beach and the sea. I can feel the warmth of the sun and a refreshing breeze on my face. I do some yoga or go for a walk on the beach.
I then return to my apartment to shower and dress. I open my laptop and catch up on my emails over a cup of fresh coffee. Some business partners or contractors come round for a brainstorming meeting. The ideas are flowing and we are having a lively discussion and making good progress. I am feeling energised and stimulated.
I meet a business associate for lunch and we are advising and supporting each other and enjoying a few jokes. I return to my apartment where I work for the afternoon – writing, creating and directing/approving work. I finish work between 6 and 7, feeling pleased with my accomplishments for the day.
In the evening I go to a barbeque on the beach with some friends. We share delicious food and wine and the conversation ranges from the sublime to the ridiculous; at times I laugh so hard it hurts. Someone starts playing a guitar and a few of us sing along. Later we crank up the stereo and dance together, completely letting go.
